RIVALS??? Oh yes we competed for passengers and cargo. I was with PanAm maintenance for 30 plus years and while in Seattle we serviced BA for 5 years.We were on BA staff went to BA schools and held BA airwortheness release authorization. I was in LHR for 747 recurrent in 86 the PanAm mechanics were having a gettogether of former BA APPRENTICES and there were a lot of them. So over the years there has been a close working relationship with employees of both companys.
