: Hello,everyone.According to the text with a
: photo on airliners.net,Ex Pan Am jet N747PA
: was dismanteled,and shipped to Korea,to be
: put back together and serve as a restaurant
: there. You could see on the pictures in the
: scrapyard that she indeed was taken apart
: more carefully then other jets just like
: her(fuselage not schredded)however,I
: couldn't find any information on her
: actually becoming a restaurant,but I did
: find a photo today.

: I wasn't sure if this was the actual
: plane,especially in these (ugly) colors,but
: if you enlarge the photo, and look
: carefully,it actually says "Juan
: T.Trippe"on the fuselage! Greetings to
: you all.

Hi Willie & Frank i read your comments about this clipper jet yes i agree how derelict it looks. But neither the less there are airliners out there that treat there own jets far worst off then this. But i have noticed some PAA jets in storage or even parts from them alot of people have paid or collected them as memobelia or used them for attractions what ever. I have being watching some of the scrap yards there are some jets being put back together after many years of being left in the deserts from fallen airliners. I notice Clipper Hawaii N723PA was on the ramp a few days ago being moved as some one has brought her being a former Tower Air 747-212B jet with PAN AM back in 1980"s and some parts like tail fins or seationg cabin parts even landing gears from older PAA 747's have being parted out or sold to the public. Good to see this. So PAN AM still is around with many people but not forgotten. Thank you
