: I read the news and saw Boston Maine's air
: worthiness certificate was pulled. However,
: locally here in Houston and in Austin, there
: have been two sightings of Pan Am 727's
: landing at AUS and IAH. Does anyone know if
: they've been leased out or what is going on?

: Hi Garret i herd this news just recently while in the USA these jets are being kept with the PAN AM logo but shortly they will dissapear from the skies and the airports and head to storage facilities. Boston Marine Airways is in legal battles so alot has being put on hold however they have being ordered to carry remaining stranded passengers until all tickets have being honoured. Other carries will not accept them.
PAN AMERICAN NAME SAKE:
after the collapse of PAN AM operated by Boston Marine Airways it's copywrite name still is in the hands of this company until its finally wound up by the US Federal Courts. Yes it's going to be worth a fortune to buy it. I would love to have it for the PAN AM meuseam here under construction in Australia. I have being given permission to allow two aircraft type former PAN AM jets to have the original livery painted on them once we have them brought over from the storage facilites in the USA. Jus see what happens Garret.Thank you
