Hi Greg just returning your coments I would egnore who ever told you that about the 747-419's AIR NZ have they are all still active to date and flying about. Retirement for these jets are a long way off from replacement they still have many more years life left in them and with AIR NZ's outstanding good maintance record from past to present they won't be getting rid of them yet.
They sold of five of there 747-219's back in 2000 and 2002 to Virgin Atlantic which now are flying with Trans aero airlines in the UK. Thank you.
