Hello out there PAN AMAIRS and former PAA staff from all over the globe I am wanting to know what happened to this big great sparkling 747-212b called Clipper Fairwind . She was a real gem of an aircraft very tidy looking. Did she come from SIA (SINGAPORE AIRLINES) at all or was she delivered to PAN AM out right. I flew her on the Asian pacific routes and I do remember CPTN Willie Singh from many years ago aboard a 747sp flight from HKG TO LAX on N538PA But over all N724PA was one of my best aircraft in the PAN AM fleet. I am also wanting to know why most of the 747 aircraft fleet PAN AM operated including the almighty DC10 L1011'S why the under belly wich was silver were never kept shinney and sparkling clean?? Please post this info on this board for me to view Thank You
