Both ex N755PA and ex N740PA are showing up as stored according to my sources. It may be some time before before we see these two 747's moved again.

: Can anyone give me info to what is going on
: with the two ex PAA 747 at JFK airport
: yesterday are they moving them away from
: there site where they were left derelict by
: Tower Air. Are they being ferried to the
: scrap man this is N755PA,N740PA EX CLIPPER
: OCEAN PEARL SOVERGIN OF THE SEAS JETS. Poor
: things so sad to see how they ended there
: lives. I wish they were preserved by some
: one out there. Thank you

: Hi Sally I read your comments about those
: two former PAA jets of Tower Air which
: collapsed in 2000. Yes its a real shame and
: a discrace to see how life ended for these
: two work horses N755PA CLIPPER SOVERGIN OF
: THE SEAS & N740PA CLIPPER OCEAN PEARL.
: As far as i know from my sources that these
: two aircraft or air frames will eventually
: be taken to the storage facility like other
: former PAN AM 747 jets. They are beyond
: there flying time now and there frames are
: very run down or badly out of shape and it
: would take a good financial person or even a
: airline company to refurbish or rebuild
: these two charming ladies again. I know the
: Management at JFK are looking into having
: them either dismantled where they sit or
: have them flown out to the Storage facility
: for the scrap man. This is due to the new
: security measures in place at JFK airport
: due to people accessing this area and other
: incidents taken place over the last seven
: years after Sept 11th attacks. I know there
: are many plane spotters and former airline
: staff who try to or go to see these former
: PAA birds but now this area is sealed off to
: the public and Tower Air faciity's will be
: dismantled over time to make way for some
: other project in the near future. I hope
: this info helps you out. If you want more
: info on these two jets My good friend MARK
: Burmedez will be able to post this for you
: on the board . Thank you
