: Nope,N747PA was not the aircraft which made
: the maiden passenger flight.N736PA was,and
: it took place on January 22nd 1970,and
: N747PA wasn't even delivered to PAN AM until
: October of 1970.N747QC was indeed not the
: first registration on this airframe, but the
: second, when it was leased to Air Zaire for a
: couple of years in the 70's.You also mention
: that the prototype 747 was registered as
: N7471PA,but it's actually N7470.It rolled
: out of the factory on September
: 30th,1968,and first flew on February
: 9th,1969.Thank you.--Previous Message--
: Hi Mark well i have some really great news
: for
: you being a fomer Boeing interior designer
: for Boeing in 1968 when the very first proto
: type 747 began its construction. First of al
: your research or the PAN AM data you have
: stored at your university in Miami needs
: updating or the some of the data from the
: PAN AM days was not given to your univirsity
: for reasons beyond there control I do know
: for a fact that sensitive files including
: some aircraft history wasn't to be given out
: at all to be made public. However i can tell
: you that Boeing produced this very first
: airframe and the rego the original rego I
: might say was N7471PA It was used to travel
: the globe and to show the public and its
: buyers this massive aircraft about the
: future of air travel which would
: revolutionise the jet age era. N747PA
: CLIPPER JUAN TRIPPE was in fact another
: airframe similar to the original porto type
: 747/100. N747QC was not the first
: registration given from the very first proto
: type 747 made. Yes it was sad to see PAN AM
: end this way but they were the launch
: airline for the almighty 747 back then which
: is correct!
:
: N7471PA sits at in a car park lot or spare
: lot down the road from the Boeing plant
: where she was born or created back in 1968
: then came out of the hangers at Boeing in
: 1969 for its first maiden flight. N747PA the
: PAN AM jet became the second jumbo produced
: by our Boeing plant but was the first actual
: 747 to make its maiden passenger flight by
: this american airline.
:
: I admired for years and still today the pan
: am 747's which some are still active today
: and others are in millions of scrapped metal
: parts. However now Clipper Juan Trippe
: N747PA is being used in asia as a resturant
: is appaulling and a discrace to see such a
: big airline airframe being used or this
: practice as a resturant Aeroposta should
: have kept this air frame together and
: shipped her to Boeing who were I might add
: would have refurbished her to her former
: glory by there staff and parked it up next
: to the proto type jumbo here in Seattle. So
: not all PAN AM records are not available for
: veiwing or cannot be disclosed at all under
: the US Attorney General after unexplained
: incidents with PAN AM's finacial matters and
: the write off's or air crashes and desolving
: the company it self which is still under
: scrutiny and investigation as well as
: dumping of files and other resourses and
: airframes which is being investigated. So I
: hope this answers your questions and answers
: so i hope this helps you all out and the
: staff frm PAN AM. Thank you

Nope wrong frank check your data with Boeing officially it was 30th September 1968 but due to some modifications with N7470 the date was actually 30th JAN 1969 when she rolled out for her public showing and guess who from PAN AM was there right up along side the jet back then???
Its a PAN AM well known clipper name on N747PA the creator of PAN AMERICAN WORLD AIRWAYS himself "Juan Trippe" with the CEO of Boeing have a look at the photos' Thank you
