Hello,Jason. If I read your comment correctly, the N736PA was actually ordered by BOAC,but also by Air Canada. How is that possible,or are you talking about two jets? Please let us know.

: Hi Everyone as you may remember long ago and
: its still fresh in our minds today of that
: dreadful day back in the year 1977 when A
: KLM and our PAN AM 747-121 jet "Clipper
: Victor" EX Mayflour collieded together
: Thats PA1736. It was revealed in a closed
: court in LAX that this PAN AM jet delivered
: to PAN AM was in fact not the original jet
: ordered by PAA back then Boeing had kept
: this from the public eye for many years.
: This Jet was actually ordered for BOAC but
: due to the high number of orders Boeing
: cancelled PAN AM's order and ended up with
: the BOAC 747-121 already painted for
: delivery to BOAC in LDN. This 747 was
: quickly put back onto the production line
: and all the interior had being re designed
: for the PAN AM look. The N736PA jet which
: now has perished was ordered for Air Canada
: but it had failed many tests and was
: delivered to PAN AM in 1969 and nobody knew
: about the problem except for Juan Trippe.
: PAN AM also incountered so many major
: probems with this aircraft and many aborted
: take off's went un noticed. Engine failure
: played a big part in this aircraft and for
: reason's unknown even the auto pilot dis
: engaged at high altitudes. So this was
: revealed in a high court report wich
: documents provided by Boeing have being
: covered up for all these years. Why does a
: plane maker like this do this. Yet i trust
: the almighty 747 no matter how old the
: aircraft may be. Know there doing a closed
: court earing on THE MAID OF THE SEA'S PAN AM
: 747-121 jet N739PA as there is some
: suspisous surrondings about this aircraft as
: well that will come to light very soon. I
: will keep you up to date with this. Thank
: you
