Queen palms like a lot of water and they are heavy feeders in fertilizer. Have you put any slow release fertilizer on them? You need something with plenty of magnese and magnesium.

: Hi there. I have 7 queen ann palms in my
: yard and all the leaves have turned
: yellow. The new growth lookes like it
: has been "trimmed" before
: they open. They have not been trimmed,
: but they look almost torn. They have
: been in the ground for a little over a
: year. I am wondering how much water
: they need. I live in the Santa Ynez
: Valley (Santa Barbara county, CA) and
: it gets warm here during the day
: (usually high 80's-low 90's) and cools
: down to the
: 50's at night. We are watering them 2
: times a day for 10 mins (on a drip
: system) every other day. Is that to
: much water??????? Thank you for your
: time in advance!
