My transplanted royal palm was about a year old and was narrow or spindally at the top because of hurricane damage and today the top 6 feet of green wood snapped off in a wind storm. I looked inside the palm and it looked very healthy with no rot or discoloration. It is about 10 feet tall now with a very large trunk and all grey wood and what I want to know is what is the palms chance of survival and are there anything I can do to increase it's odds.
