The Short ones are young the Tall ones are old. This palm works on Putting on girth before it starts growing tall. The tall ones you see are very old.
Diamond Cut - Diamond notches on trunk
Pineapple Cut - used on short specimens, trunk is cut to resemble a pineapple and fronds are cut off only leaving the vertical one.
Smooth Trunk - Not sure how they do it but the trunk is smooth, looks real nice.
Leaf boot trunk - Leaves are cut off leaving only the leaf boot on trunk.
