Queen/King Palm help

I have several King and Queen palms and am experiencing a problem that I'd like some help on. The problem is that the fronds are opening up way too soon and they are not opening all of the way. It's almost like the leafs on the fronds are fused together.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
