Posted by Darell I appreciate that info. I am 250 miles north of Houston near Marshall, Texas, in east Texas. The temps get very hot here in summer and not too bad in winter. Although we are zone 8a, we are closer to that of zone 8b since I am near the Big Cypress River and we get a warming effect from the water. I water my Mexican Fan Palms every other day and I have used Carl Poole's Palm Food. Good stuff. I can't wait til they get even bigger!
