Hello there. I have three majestic palms. We had a freeze of 22 degrees. I had the palms covered with sheets, and they still died. They turned brown, broke branches, and the stalk coming up the center turned brown and split.
Was told to saw them right straight across at the bottom, where I saw some green color.
Then I fertilized, and watered afterwards.
Will they make it without that green stalk like thing in the center. That thing were the new leaf forms?
We can't dig them up, my husband almost broke the shovel handle. So replacing is out of the question.
So doesn't anyone have a clue, as what we can do?
Does anyone know if they will survive from here?
Im in Fl.
Thanks so much for, any advise that will help.
