I have a palm that is approx. 5 ft. tall that was planted in mid Sept. We just went through a cold spell where the temps reached 22 degrees. I wrapped the trunk really good with an old heavy blanket. Now that it has warmed up again should I remove the blanket? Also, I have noticed that some of the older palms branches are turningg brown. Should I cut them or leave them alone?
Any help will be much appreciated.
