Does anyone know of anyone who sells "RELIABLE" Silver Queen or Butia Bonetti (Var Odorata) seeds. If so, how reliable are their sources?
I live in Homestead, FL, where there are many nurseries gowing the Silver Queen.
Unfortunately, I have personally spoken with more then 10 separate nusery owners
about the Silver Queen regarding their source for seeds. All were not sure and
got their seeds from other local nurserymen. Since both palms look very similar
and since there is so much diversity in the palm, I get the feeling that I am
being hoodwinked.
I will be relocating to Austin, TX and want to continue my extensive palm garden
and am having a difficult time authenticating sources of Silver Queens and Butia
Bonetti.
Ortanique sells the Siver Queen. Do you know the owner and how reliable (authentic sources of seeds)is this company?
Can you help or guide me in the right direction
