Mexican Fan Palms - Help Please..

We have a new pool w/2 "planter" holes made into the concrete deck. We brought home 2 Mexican Fan Palms (15 gallon) that looked great until we planted them. They have turned brown on the edges of the fans and I don't know what to do with them. Could they have wind burn from the trip home or is there something a little more to this? We live in Tolar, TX which is about 30 miles W of Ft. Worth. Can you help?
