-Debbie, can you describe the palms for us? Are they tall, short, stout? What color are the berries? What color are the leaves? Green, or a hint of blue? How big around is the trunk? is the trunk clean or are the dead leaves still attached?What is the shape of the leaves? And, lastly, do you have any pictures of the plant you can direct us to? Do a net search for jelly palm (Butia capitata).....wait....where do you live? Basically we need to narrow things down as to what can & cant grow in you area since we don't have a picture. Some palm fruits are edible and tasty. Others are irritable to the skin if touched-- not good, right? So, any more info.?
