I planted a windmill palm one year ago. It is about 7 1/2 feet tall and looks crooked now. We had a tree guy come in and said the roots look okay and maybe the palm is just growing that way. He said he didn't think putting stakes in the ground around it and trying to pull the tree back w/ cords over a period of time will help. BUT he also said he doesn't know palms that well. My husband doesn't want the cords & stakes because he says it's an eye sore. I think the crooked tree is an eye sore, because it is a focal point right behind our spa. Please advise.....
