: We purchased a Mexican fan in CA a yr ago
: in CA and brought it back to MI with
: us. We repotted it and is was growing
: nicely. It is in a large pot and kept
: inside. It is approximately 4 to 5 ft
: tall. It is not sprouting new fans as
: quickly as it was. Do they go dormant
: in the winter even when kept inside?
: Should I be concerned?
: Thanks for any imput.
:I don't think it's anything to worry about. They have to have warm tempertures to grow. I would keep it in front of a south facing window and mist it maybe every other day. Don't water it until it gets fairly dry. Water it until the water runs out in the drain pan. If you don't you will get a salt build up in the soil.Hope this helps, good luck John
