John...Got to watch that "no motivation". Like Barney Fife would say, "You gotta nip it in the bud!" Here, it's 45 degrees outside, dampish with rain on the way, and a north wind. Not ideal conditions for bow hunting, but I'm heading to the woods anyway. If not, I'll be kicking myself later this evening. Besides, I'm down to a single package of venison and just picked up a smoker, so I need to push myself a little or I'll end up watching Dr. Phil. Besides, I've got a deer stand that brought me two last year that needs a good north wind to make it work. If the 4.5" of rain we had late last week doesn't have it flooded out, I'm in business! Last evening I was entertained by three racoons that were in an oak tree eating and dropping acorns, much like squirrels would do. That alone was worth the trip, not counting the three eight-pointers that feed in a field some 100 yards away, eventually fading into the distant woods. Soooo...try to get out there and enjoy autumn, the best time of the year!
