I am sorry to hear about your injury and the loss of another hunting area. I heard a story on the radio this week. A little boy was going in to have surgery on his left arm that had cancer. He asked if he could walk down the hall to the operating room. While he was walking down the hall he kept pumping his left arm up and down and and swinging it back and forth. His parents were following him down the hall. When they got to the doors of the operating room they made him get on the gurney and his dad asked why he had been doing the fist pumps and swinging his arm around. He said, "If they have to take my arm off because of this cancer I just wanted to get as much use out of it as I could."
I pray for you a swift and complete recovery and always try to get as much use out of it as you can.
