Eric, Yeah, we checked into the hotel and asked about the whale boats but the only boat was leaving in 15 minutes and it meant to be out for 4 hours. NEXT time I'll spend two days in Kaikoura. Next time I'm spending at least two weeks. Theo's house in Blenhiem is smack in the vineyards. It's got six bedrooms and three baths and he says I can borrow it and his BMW anytime so we may.
