John...I've got a live trap; however, catching the skunk seems to be only half the problem using his method. One suggestion was that I use a 2-3 foot length of 6-8" diameter plastic pipe, being sure that it is slick on the inside, either naturally or with grease. Cap one end, place tuna inside the tube at the capped end, and place the tube at a 20-30 degree angle such that the open end is up. Anchor it so that it doesn't move and make sure there is a way for the skunk to make his/her way up to the open end. When the skunk enters the tube and goes for the bait, it will be unable to turn around, back out, or raise its tail. Cap the open end and you've got yourself a "skunk in a tube"!! I've had at least two different individuals tell me that they've tried this and it works. I'm still working on a way to release the cap to let the skunk go after relocating him/her further out in the country. If this method doesn't work, then it's back to the live trap. Tom
