It's never a bad idea to have a cache of food (unless you're about to move or something), but hear my thoughts:
The second best way to sell product is by having a sale.
The best way to sell a product is to let the world think it's in very short supply. If it were to slip that yo-yos are about to be prohibited, they'll sell liek crazy.
That said, what food staples would you set aside as an emergency cache, like you were preparing for the period after a hurricane?
