I make it a point to try new places when I go back to the "Riviera Maya" and sometimes I end up wishing I'd just gone back to one of my favorite places, but not this time. Last September I was walking along the beach and I came across a resort that looked very nice so I asked the name of the place and booked it for this trip. It was beautiful, the service was great, the beach was terrific and the snorkeling gave me alot to do while my wife vegged out on a lounge chair, reading novels. It's definitely a place we'd go back to.
I rented a car for the whole time we were there and I got out and did plenty during our week long stay. Mostly I took videos but I had bought myself a simple to use, underwater camera too so I took about 100 pictures, more than half of them underwater. That was fun.
See that spiny sea urchin under that coral and behind that fish? It was one of those that got me right in the middle of the tip of my index finger on my right hand so typing is a little weird now. Those spines emit a venom that won't do you any serious damage but they hurt! Hurts now!
