The panther stirred from her position asleep on her boulder. An unfamiliar scent had made it's path towards her on the chilly breeze. She stood, stretching and yawning, her deep green orbs searching for the stranger.
She sighted him and leaped down, ambling towards him. Once she neared him she halted. The panther could sense hostility here. He wanted to challenge her for her land.
Rebel nodded slowly, sizing up the other, "Indeed, you may battle me for my land. Though I must warn you, I will not surrender my land while I still have a breath in my body." This was her home, her comfort, her pride. No one would take it from her, not if she could help it.
((OOC: Sorry I took so long to reply. Haven't had computer use for quite some time. I'm back now though, and ready to battle))
