Unknown Thought smiled all the while when waiting for Fade to make his daily appearance. He would be coming around any moment and then she would tell him. As he came into sight her heart started pounding and her unborn pups started kicking lightly making her ease, he wouldn't reject them, he couldn't they were undoubtedly his. As he leapt across the river she couldn't help but worry that he would run away like Death Be Not Proud did with her first litter and then never return to her, but Fade was different and she knew that.
"Maybe." She said in a playful almost sing-song voice. "But I have something important to tell you and I just couldn't wait any longer." It was obvious she was excited and she hoped he would be too once she told him. "I know maybe it's a bit soon, but...." She paused and took a deep breath, "We are having pups soon, Fade!" She gleefully said tail waving about happily, large smile still on her maw. Now all she could do was hope he was the wolf she believe he was and hope that he wouldn't leave her like the one before.
