The zinc hued wolf had been spending more time in his home lands than he'd ever expected. Things were slow there, most of his sibling either gone or wandering. His mother went out almost every day, father the same with exception of checking his boarders religously. Zebbidiah's icy blue eyes scanned the snow crusted fields lazily as he walked, strong frame carrying him with astonishing fluidity. He stopped suddenly, a scent coming to him on the wind. Then came an unfamiliar voice from behind, one calling for his blood brother.
At the call, the zinc brute crouched down, hiding himself in the tall grass and snow, watching as the strange wolf pass him by with a small dragon on his back. He stood once more when the brute passed, slowly and silently so as not to frighten or surprise the pair. Narrowing his eyes at the light over the horizon, Zeb caught the sillhouette of another wolf. He lifted a paw to block out the sun and the figure became distinct. Itachi. A smile creased the brute's face, tail giving a twitch. He took off, thundering past Fade and his dragon over the fields. "Itachi!" he said, voice cracking with excitement. Stoping a cool ten paces away, Zebbidiah fixed his eyes on his brother and wagged his zinc plume. "It's good to see you, man!"
