Taboo wandered the borders of the pack, such was his duty as alpha and had been for over 2 years. The path he walked in the summer was noting but a dirt trail around what used to be some humanlands but now a deep path in the snow. Heavy snow had fallen here this year up to half of his body which was a big deal considering he was large in his own. Icy eyes went about, quiet, that was normal to the large black brute. Now that his latest litter had grown and began on there own he only had his own free time with his mate and those children that stayed about.
Tsuki, Cascada, Midnight Kiss, Inari, Unknown Thought and Nightmare's Curse those where the children that had stayed in the pack that were most often seen by the Alpha. He would do anything to protect anyone in his family or in his pack.
His rounds where about over when in the distance the even larger brute, his son Nightmare's Curse was seen trotting threw the deep snow with ease towards his father. Stopping he wondered what could have gone astray if anything for his son to come to him on his rounds.
"Father," He said with a little bow crimson eyes on the slightly smaller black brute that was his father. "I just wanted to tell you that Itachi may be comming back soon and if you want I've made a kill, a large doe if you or Terra would like some." He said averting his eyes.
It was a basic well known fact that Itachi held true as heir to the pack even though Nightmare's Curse was the eldest son he wasn't in line for the pack at all. Nightmare's Curse was partially deaf but wise and strong, so wasn't Itachi but why would he choose him then. They had different mothers. A long drawn out tale but cosisited of a litter taking his father's young life away. Perhaps thats why he wasn't as liked by the black brute.
Taboo was a bit taken aback by his words, "What has made him deside to visit when he wouldn't in times of need?" He asked in a deep harsh voice that was his. Itachi normally did whatever he could to avoid the place, why now return?
"I'm not sure father." Nightmare said looking to the east. "But he returns, aprarntly he met Cross, maybe this is the cause?" He questioned uneasily. "I believe he wants to finally meet all of his younger siblings."
Taboo nodded, "Then I shall find Terra, she should know." He began to stride threw the snow towards the center of the lands where the large rock marked his large den and home. Stopping the brute looked back. "Nightmare." He paused then continued, "Would you finish my round only about a mile left I'm sure there is nothing but just so I know for sure."
The crimson brute looked back just as he was about to head into the forest. "Sure Father." Then went to the path walking with easy strides across the terra while watching Taboo make his way to the den.
