White mostly wolf hybrid dragged herself threw the woods on the very edge of the territory. Having welled up tears in her eyes meant very well that her much bigger two siblings, mostly Zalera, was picking on her again. Ashe being the runt and very unhealthy pup of the litter was always the target of Zalera and Viroku's rather cruel pranks. She couldn't fight back, only fly or walk away, her mother was usually gone, trying to keep her heart intact and to find Death Be Not Proud, supposedly her mate.
The little white wolfess finally climbing up onto a rock that the humans had moved out of the feilds so long ago looked about. Yukina had been gone for a long while, too long...... Lately Ashe had been fearing for the worse imagining that her only friend and guardian angel was gone, killed by another of her kind on the Icy Mountain Peak or on her way back.
She folded her ears back, she didn't want to think about it... All it did was bring back the tears in her pink hued eyes. The the very familiar sound of glider wings came to the little wolf/dogs ears.
Going over the trees at a fast pace, white egg clutched in her claws, was Yukina. She recently had gained Quetzalcoatl as a mate and the pair had a clutch. Imagining he was close behind her after dropping off the remainder of the clutch she saw her little white wolfess and roared happily before landing on the ground.
"Yukina, your okay!" Ashe called bounding off the rock, little wings taking her down and into the Glider's belly. It was only then when she saw the white egg that looked so much like Yukina's. "Where did you get that?" She asked amazed, happy tears flowing lightly from her eyes.
The snow wing looked down at Ashe a smile on her reptilian maw. "Well, this is one of my babies, Ashe." She said holding in her excitement. "I have a mate too! He should be here soon!"
Ashe could hardly believe her ears and looked at the egg that Yukina had brought with her. It had to be true, how else could she have gotten an egg? "Oh wow, Yuki!" She said now closely examining the egg. It was flawless and from what she could tell it looked and smelled healthy.
Yukina was more than pleased by her owner’s reactions. Even if Ashe now was crying at least it was for something good. Looking up into the sky’s with icy eyes the snow wing glider dragon looked for her mate, he would be here soon she was sure of it.
