The place smelled of memories, ones ever so present in the brutes mind. The zinc hued paws touched the ground in a slow rhythm, not hasty to come in contact with anyone just yet. The last time he could remember being here, he was still an adolescent. Well, that time was long gone. The brute was now quite tall, probably taller than his father or about equal by now. His chest was wide and strong, fur thick. Well toned muscles rippled under the coat, not hiding the fact that, even alone, the wolf-dog had managed more than easily to feed and care for himself.
The dark nose twitched, icy blue eyes flicking around. No one was present yet, but there were plenty of the pack members around. He caught his brother's scent, his father's, mother's, Midnight's, Sesshomaru's... and a few strangers. It almost felt overwhelming to have so many of Kuna's members around him even if they were out of sight. How long had it been since he left? A year? More? He couldn't remember to be honest. He was about two years old, fully an adult, and was only here because he felt some strange obligation with protecting this land as his mother requested.
Zebbidiah stopped in the middle of a field of tall wheat, eyes just able to see over the tips. He could hear his mother and father just over the next rise, Nightmare's Cures somewhere to the west.. And then..
The brute's head snapped to look over his shoulder. The icy blue eyes narrowed throught the golden wheat, ears pinned in that direction. Two voices caught his attention, one deep and male and the other of a strong femine tone. He only hoped the past was really the past now. If this was to be a serious gathering, much peace would need to be made between the members of the family.
Zebbidiah stood his ground, standing tall and not bothering to make a call. He knew that, undoubtedly, someone would be attracted to his presence. One of his uncles perhaps, or even one of his siblings or parents. It was inevitable, and he would just wait.
