The white wolfess jammed her forepaws into the ground and swung her rear end so she was facing the sudden voice. Before she even set her golden gaze on the brute, Terra let out a loud snarl and her ridge raised along her back. She looked positively menacing, bristled fur and gleaming white teeth. The worst part was that she didn't care who it was, she just wasn't in the mood to be called upon unless it was someone to relieve her of her tired and hungry state. Well, at least that's what she thought before she realized who the voice belonged to...
"Taboo!" Her voice was both excited and apologetic. The fey's golden tipped tail lashed in her own annoyance. With a hesitant glance at the dark hole that served as an entrance to the den, the wolfess took a few steps towards her mate. The pups wouldn't dare try to escape when they were both around, would they? She knew it was a long shot, but was starting to not care. Exhaustion and hunger were starting to plague her mind to no end. The fem cast her eyes to the ground briefly and shook her head to wake her mind.
The fur began to settle along her back, collecting into her normal glossy coat. Terra's golden paws lagged as she walked quickly over to the black brute, claws dragging their tips along the frosty surface of the ground. The fey nuzzled Taboo as soon as she was in reach, lingering in the contact as she leaned on him with her eyes closed. "It's been hell around here," she said softly, voice weighed down in her tired state.
