Things were starting to become clearer to Death, but not to a point that he completely understood the situation. He didn't realize the fact that Unknown really needed him right now, whether or not he liked the what was going on.

Death took another step back when Viroku approached him, growling. Unknown, I love you, but I can't deal with this right now. I'm sorry. With that he turned and fled, he needed to see his mother or sister. Someone to help him understand what was going on so he could return to Unknown.
