Death padded slowly towards the burrow that he shared with his mate, Unknown Thought. He had not seen her in a while, and was anxious to see her again. Suddenly, a strange scent fell upon his nares. That of three pups. He and Unknown had never mated so he knew that the pups weren't his.
Death picked up his speed and ran the rest of the way to the burrow. He stuck his head and and saw Unknown looking at three small, multi-colored pups. What is this? Death demanded, looking from the three pups then back to Unknown, his face contorted with so much emotion that it was unreadable.
