His eyes traveled to the mixed colored fem when she spoke to her father, then to the small dark fey retreating and the dark male entering with the pup. There was much going on behind the scenes that Taboo did not know, that much was obvious. His eyes locked back with Taboo once more, finding them already fixed on himself.//

Avea stared at the brute as he spoke, thoughts whirling around in her head like an unmixed soup. She couldn't believe her father had agreed with her, let alone smile. When his eyes met her's once more, she could feel the slight reproach of her presence. As the brute left, she looked to her father. The fey did not know what was to come, but stood wary of her father and maybe moreso of her step-brother. Some relief came to her when Nightmare walked away to the den. She stood there now, alone with Taboo. There was tension and and urge to leave, but she did not. The great black and white mix brought her gaze to her father's and stared, just stared with a rebellious strength. She would not run this time..
Midnight Kiss stood from where her sister had left her what seemed like ages ago. She had watch the fight, the stranger, everything. What have I been born into?
The black pup stalked off to where Nightmare's Curse and Sayuri lay, sitting beside them in quiet thought. What would happen to their family? Where were Zebbidiah and Itachi? Was life always going to be this way? The pup stared up at the stars as they began to fade away in the coming dawn.
