I have no plan on staying here longer than it takes to restore the order and honor these lands had in the time before you claimed it. I do not seek your position, only your ear and your mind. This was once the glorious place I was raised, a pack closely knit and more powerful than any in the land. Yet now, the land called to me and I came, I came to find it practically abandoned and family turning upon each other. This land was not meant to be a bloodbath gather for those with no self control. \\The brute narrowed his eyes, ears giving an annoyed twitch// And don't say it isn't so. If not for me, either your daughters or your mate would have been dead before you got here. I've been watching for a while now. If you're going to claim that you have order here and that Kuna is fine and reputable now, then I ask: Where are your children? None of your sons stay to fortify their pack's interest. And two of your youngest daughters where able to leave undetected. I've heard them talk about you and the pack with a certain disdain. And I've seen them turn on each other... \\The brute glanced at Avea, her split nose hardly visible in the moonlight. It was a painful sight.// Kuna needs to be healed, and I am here to do just that. When it is done, I shall be gone. I am offering my help... For the first time in my life, I am offering to save lives. A rarity. \\The brute stared at Taboo, gaze unwavering. He was not one to be intimidated. It was odd how he felt so detached from these wolves, yet so intimately involved with their pack. Ludicrous really. Yet not all of them seemed off track. Perhaps there was hope left for the dying lands of Kuna.// Avea turned her head to her father, having felt his slight discomfort at her short lived moment of happiness. The sight of her father filled her with rage, blood boiling inside. But what the stranger, Calium, said made sense. "He seems to be speaking the truth. If there's one thing you could do right, it's accepting his help." It was the first time she'd talked to her father as if he were equal. At the moment, Avea didn't feel up to sassy talk or even lowering her head in shame and rank. She was serious. Terra didn't know what to say or do. She stood behind Taboo, licking the blood from her white muzzle. She felt shame, but also rage. At the moment, she hated everything. She hated her daughter, her step-daughter, the stranger, the lands, and herself.. She spun around and stalk off in solemn silence to her den, walking past Midnight Kiss without so much as a word. The white wolfess slid into the cover of the den and lay down in the moist soil, staring at the entrance in moody silence.

\\The shadow shifted slightly when addressed by the hybrid who claimed to be alpha, crimson stripes shimmering in what was now only moonlight. His bloody eyes fixed on the brute and looked him up and down slowly//
