It had been so long since she had seen her older sister, so long indeed. But she was bound to get hurt at a time like this. She, as midnight, had no clue of what was happening. Terra would kill her too if she got in the way. Turning toward the small pup, Avea's deep blue eyes met the gold. "No matter what happens, don't follow me and do not get in the way. I love you, but you must stay here," she said softly to the black fuzball who stared at her in confusion. Avea sprang off toward the other two wolfess. If there was to be a fight, Unknown Thought should not be involved.. Midnight sat frozen to the spot as her sister tore off. She was not sure why at first, but then she saw her mother and another female wolf in the distance. What was going on? The little fem laid down, shaking, watching what went on. Terra did not hesitate or slow down. As Unknown Thought came close, she let out a snarl and made to leap right over the fem.

Avea lifted her head at the sound of Unknown's enraged voice, turning so she stood above the little black pup like a shield. Her dry eyes took in a sight that frightened her practically into a panic attack. Her mother was running towards she and Midnight Kiss, a look to kill on her face. Avea knew that look probably meant what she thought. She may have to fight her mother for her life tonight..
