Posted by Aquiose on October 1, 2007, 3:03 am The huge black wolf slowed himself to a slow run, long, cat-like strides carrying himself over the barren wasteland that was Kuna. Even on the flat and dismal plain, he could not see where she had gone. Aquiose halted at the edge of a stream, losing the scent. He didn't know where to go from here. Lifting his maw to the sky, Aquiose called for his alphas, hoping they wouldn't be angered by his disturbance. Where are you, Avea? The brute paced back and forth a few steps along the stream, uncharacteristically on edge and worried. Terra heard the call from where she slept in the den, head snapping up and accidentally hitting the roof as the sound snapped her awake. She shook off the feeling of dizziness and glanced around. Where were Apostle and Inari? The other pups were snoozing lazily nearby... Oh well, the call sounded urgent, and, if she was not mistaken, it was Aquiose. Him suddenly appearing when he'd been away with Avea for so long, then turning up with a startlingly frenzied call to her and Taboo had Terra worried terrible. The white wolf shot out of the den, slender frame carrying her fast even for the fastest of wolves. Her golden paws hardly touched the ground before stretching out once more for another pace. She'd cover more than half the pack lands before she saw the brute pacing near the stream. Where was Taboo? The white wolfess continued as fast as she could, eager to find out what trouble had come to her pack this time..

Aquiose barreled his way through the wood that stretched from the Traydon River to the edge of the Kuna Pack lands. He was just minutes behind Avea, yet he couldn't see her. Her smell had been carried in a perfectly straight line toward Kuna, but as fast as Aquiose could run, he hadn't been able to catch up to the fem. He knew she was in hysterics, but damn, why did she have to run from him AGAIN?
