He stood straight at the sight of his older brother and gave him a smirk. "Hey, how's it going, Bro?" he asked with the air of long lost friends. "Long time no see. You seen Avea around?" Zeb's last sentence came with a darker light, very serious. He had been wondering where his demon of a sister had gone to. The thought that she might be up to something was painful. He wanted like nothing to know where she was and what she was doing. As if on cue, and to the Zinc wolf's utter bemusement, the pretty husky patterned hybrid came walking out of the nearby wood with a smile on her face. Her deep blue eyes were the only thing that let someone know that she wasn't right in the head. They were distant and always had the look of amusement etched deep within, as if everyone was just some toy. She had grown large and sleek, though wider in the chest than Itachi and Zebbidiah. Walking right up to Zebbidiah, she gave him a fiendish smile. "Miss me?" her voice was like cold silk. She gave a light, devilish laugh at the perplexed expression he and Terra gave her. Zeb's icy blue eyes hardened at her laugh, a growl erupting from deep within his chest. "Hardly," he said, narrowing his eyes dangerously. The fur along his back stood on end, muscles tensing, ready for a fight. He watched as the black and white witch prowled her way over to their mother. Avea rubbed herself under her mother's neck like a feline, amused with her mother's look of repulsion. "Hello, Mother. Father," she said with a glance at the great black wolf that was her father. "And what do we have here?" she said with a sickened look at the four little pups that were playing. Middy stopped chewing on her brother and looked up at Avea with an unsure wagged of her tail. Avea snarled at Midnight Kiss, showing glimmering white teeth. The pup yelped and ran behind Taboo for shelter, golden eyes just peering behind a stalk of his leg. Apostle was staring at her older sister with indifference, golden eyes raking the image slowly from foot to head. When Avea turned to her and growled, Apostle growled back, showing her little sharp puppy teeth with ferocity. The little golden fem stood up from where she had been sitting, bristling and growling. She didn't like Avea, she didn't like the feeling that surrounded the black and white hybrid wherever she went. Avea became enraged by the pup's lack of fear. She lunged forward, jaws opening with a snap. The distance was just about closed when something hit her... hard. As she felt herself fall and tumble in the dry, dusty dirt, all she caught was a glimpse of dark, silvery fur moving closer. Before she knew what was happening, Zebbidiah was on her once more and she felt his teeth sink into her right flank. The black and white hybrid struggled her way from her brother, silent so as not to show her discomfort. She stood and whirled around, facing her brother with hatred emblazoned on every inch of her body. She snarled wildly, eyes flashing with rage. Zebbidiah returned her snarl, visage menacing. Every inch of his body was full of zinc fur standing up over taught, rippling muscle. "Don't you dare touch them, you worthless dog!" he spat at her, tail lashing with anger. He had had enough of her games. It would last no longer. "I don't care what Terra and Taboo say, if you don't straighten up, I'll run you out of these pack lands for good myself!" He had been so bent on rage that he didn't realize he called his parents by their names instead of "mother" and "father". Avea smirked, seeming to brush off everything he said. "You've certainly gotten better at fighting. I didn't see you coming," she said with a careless attitude. To her, this was nothing but a game. After all, Itachi wasn't here, so it was pointless. "Where's our brother?" she asked, shaking the dust from her coat. Zebbidiah fixed her with an intense, icy stare that caused her to startle a bit. Thos eyes were so creepy sometimes, so wild. It made her shudder. "I'm quite serious, Avea." There was a long silence that followed as the two stared at each other. There was no sound but the wind whipping at their fur and howling off the trees. The hatred between the two filled the area with cold, icy air. Still between the two, Apostle looked from one to the other, calmly observing their inner strength.

Terra nuzzled Taboo affectionately, silently agreeing to his statement. She felt another approaching, her head snapping to the direction immediately. Her motherly anxiety was swept away at the sight of Nightmare's Curse. She nodded to him in greeting, "Hello, Nightmare. It's been a while." She gave her step son a smile, wagging her tail. As far as she was concerned, NC was as much her son as Zebbidiah and Itachi.
