If I have to anger you to make you realize you're submitting to a PUP, then so be it!" Terra was not smiling, nor was she snarling. She was totally serious. "And don't cross me. If you keep the way you're going, I'll start thinking you don't really love me. But I know you do. Start acting like the wolf I know you are." She turned away and sat down, looking over at Zebbidiah with motherly love. "Besides, do you think I would have accepted you as my mate if you were really weak? No. If you hate me for calling you on a momentary collapse into fear of a little fem pup, then so be it. We'll fight here and leave it at that. But what I said is for your own good. If you are the Taboo I love and cherish more than anything in the world, then you'll understand." The white wolfess looked over her shoulder at the angry black brute. She was not pleading, was not backing down like a spineless coward like most would in front of Taboo. "It's up to you."

Terra's gaze didn't waver. Though she knew she'd hurt him, she also knew she loved him too much to let a pup scare him into submission. When he stepped toward her, she growled and stepped even closed, almost nose to nose with the boiling black brute. Her golden eyes stared right down into that pit of hell found in the red, stared down without fear.
