"Bullshit," Zeb said in response, a smirk playing across his face. He'd finally gotten Rapier to show himself. "You do know. I can tell. Why don't you tell me? Or is it that you think you know me?"
Zeb walked behind Rapier, the grace his mother gave him working it's cat-like wonder. "As for me being a half-breed, it will help in the long run. My structure is much more sturdy than yours. I may not like sharing my ancestry with a common domestic dog, but it will help me live through the toughest of times."
Zeb's eyes did a strange flash of color, though he didn't know it himself. The emotions inside him were boiling even though his voice was so calm. "By the way, in case it worried you, I owe my alligence to no one. You seem to hold a distaste for Taboo, care to share that with someone that won't bark up your tree and stab you in the back? This might be your only chance."
