Zeb gave a smirk, pearly white teeth barely showing. "Oh please, spare me formality. There's no need to apologize for not saying your name the moment you opened your mouth. I didn't, so why should you?"
His voice had not been sarcastic or crass, but almost amused and modest. Zebbidiah didn't think himself very special, just another young wolf in the pack. He didn't care much for others treating him special just for being the son of Taboo. In his opinion, he hadn't done anything special enough to earn formal titles or presence... yet.
"It's nice to meet you, Rapier," he continued. "I'm Zebbidiah.. Zeb."
Zeb sat next to the tri-colored wolf, posture erect. Though he did not feel it, he definately looked like the Alpha's son. There was something about him, possibly the fact that he felt detached from most others, that gave him a unique air.
Zebbidiah looked down at the other brute with his icy blue eyes. There was something about the brute that seemed familiar. He sort of smelled similar to Zeb's own family, but that could be because he was part of the pack. All the pack members had a marking scent to them that shadowed each of the others'. But somehow Zeb thought that Rapier was different. He couldn't quite place it..
The zinc wolf gave his head a slow shake, realizing he had been staring at Rapier like a fool. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to stare.. It's just that there's something about you that's.. different.."
Zeb looked away, absently casting his gaze upon the wasteland that made up most of the pack lands.
