Terra giggled a little when Taboo licked the tears from her cheek, totally caught by surprise there. His smile almost scared her, knowing Taboo was not one for such actions normally. She returned his smile with a flash of her own pearly whites, however brief it was. It felt almost weird to her, something she hardly ever did.
Closing her eyes, she ducked her head once more under his chin. She pressed herself into his broad chest, feeling secure and comforted. His scent was heaven compared to what she'd been through in the wild with Avea in his absence. She sighed..
"Taboo, I'm so sorry," she began, muffled by his fur. "I thought that maybe I could do something.. Take her somewhere and straighten her out. I don't think it worked, I don't even know where she is right now..."
Terra knew that she needn't say who the 'she' was, for Taboo and herself had repeatedly called their latest daughter by that title. Avea wasn't the most pleasant of children, and even Terra was getting weary of her in her almost grown stage..
