She knew that there had been another pack member added, but she had yet to meet him and did not know if this was him. "Aquiose," he spoke gently in his deep voice whishing no problems with the alphess. He gave his head a slight bow in greeting. "You are Taboo's mate then?" "I hate persistant manners," she said quietly. "Don't pretend you like me yet." Her voice was commanding. She hated false pretensing and would not stand for it in her pack. To her, it was more insulting and humiliating than to be sassed and taunted. "Uhh... ok?" he did not know any other response. He figured he should just lay back down and avoid other issues from arrising. His haunches sank and his forelegs stretched, letting out a slight groan as he decended back to the ground. He lay his head back on his paws and closed his eyes, snoozing off again.

Her mate was absent at the moment, so she was left to running the routines of the pack. She held her tail hight and her head low, pinning her ears out of habbit. She shone brilliantly as she strode in the shadows, ghostly image floating of golden paws. Her shimmering gold orbs flickered here and there with bored molevolence, ears twitching at ever slight noise. The packlands were quiet and needed more animation. Perhaps when Taboo returned she would request pups...
The large black brute lay still in the shadows with his head on his paws. His eyes were shut and he dosed lazily for the moment. He was affected most strangely by the decrease in animation on the mountain, causing him to be lethargic. He heard footsteps, ears cocking in the general direction. They were light and gracefull, probably female. He wondered idly if they were his alpha's mate's. He opened his blodred eyes and turned his head slightly on his paws to see the approach of this stranger.
Terra stopped suddenly, and black mound in the shadows blocked her path a few meters ahead. She growled low and bared her pearly teeth in threatening manner. She braced her stance and called out to the other.
Aquiose lifted his head and stood slowly, walking a few yard towards the fea. In comparison, he towered over her dainty form. He was at least three times her mass. His onyx trills inhaled her scent with a deep sniff. She wreaked of Taboo, definately his mate. He held his tail nuetrally low, signifying his position under her.
Terra swished her tail in aggitation. This brute had manners? It almost offended her to have someone react in politeness when she had hailed so cruley. She let loose a rumble in her chest, an inaudible growl. Her ears unpinned slightly and she stepped closer to the brute named Aquiose. He was large and muscular, much like her mate, but lacked the forward aggression and sheer intimidation of Taboo. She rolled her eyes slightly.
Aquiose's brow furrowed in confusion. She was not like his former pack alphess. She had been and royal pain and demanded he show her respect. He had hated her... But Terra seemed to be completely opposite.
Terra was lost at what to say. The brute had been neither polite or offending in his reaction. His laying down told her that he didn't wish to push the issue. She sighed and sat down curling her golden tipped plume over her golden paws. She stared around boredly, thinking of what to do next...
