It's such a universal thing. Everyone in the world becomes familiar with this awful thing we call grief. I've often wondered why the great scientists of the world don't seem interested in finding out what happens after we die since so many people go through this awful grief. You have a few scientists here and there like Raymond Moody and Michael Newton (who I am very impressed with) who look into it but the mainstream scientists ignore them or label them crackpots.
I did read where Thomas Edison was working on a device to communicate with the dead before he died.
But this is a subject for another time.
