the Dr is married to a church friend. I wouldn't tell her but his waiting room was miserable for me. Our first visit was consult and we were there about 3 hrs, 2 tvs in the waiting room and then another in the consult room , all on CNN. We do watch and read lots of news but not such as that with the repeats over and over. In the consult room, we asked nurse to turn it off, she did.
In the urgent care we go to near our daughter, they only let the tv be on news channels if no children are present, a good idea I thought at the time but now am convinced. There were 2 kids with us this time and I am sure they know all about Ukraine but something more educational would have been nicer for all of us. The situation is on our minds constantly, in conversations at eateries, etc. Swimming with sea mammals would have been a nice break.
