Hello, well im not a big fan of reason because of its sound and not being able to record into it. I use Fl Studio running inside Cubase SX and its works for me just fine, also Try the Hydra VSTi for bass it works well and has a bass section so you can tune it to get it sounding phat! Also try any bass boost vst efect, there are a shit load of them out there I use the FL bass boost. Peace and stay up!!

: It is hard to make Reason sound good,
: IMHO. It's easy to make it sound OK,
: but other softsynths sound much
: better, especially ones by Native
: Instruments et. al.
: What don't you like about your bass
: sounds? Have you tried layering
: them, like putting a sub underneath
: your main b-line tone? Try combining
: bass tones from both the sampler
: module and the analog module, or put
: a real low pitched-down kick drum on
: the attack.
: I still like hardware because
: "it plays you back", but
: software is capable of some amazing
: things lately.
