your links wouldn't work for me for some reason... so im sorry i can't listen. I can't post any tracks up right now either because i lost my server space. All i can say is that i've progressed a lot... mainly from listening to dnb records a lot. Toledo may have the worst drumnbass scene, but at least ODI came, and dara is comming soon! I mix my tracks live with the shittiest cd-r mixers (american dj) and mix them good... everyone seems to like my "humorous" dnb style... and the reason why its like that is to make up for not having an emu sampler, or good audio interface... Toledo's scene is getting better, and would be better if i had a car.. it'd probably be ten times what it is now and im not saying this because my shit don't stink, i'm saying this because im the lonliest bastard in Toledo and just about the only one who produces dnb... well besides frisky.. but #### him for sampling all of his dnb vinyl. For christ sake he sounds just like ray ####ing kieth and only uses acid 4.0... plus certain vocal samples ray keith uses are on frisky's tunes. Here i go... wanting to make the scene better in my town, but dog on everyone trying as well.. oh well... most of the djs besides goodwill are druggie #### O's anyways. Toledo is a shithole and it doesn't inspire me... Toledo is like fruity loops and NY is like Pro tools. A few of my skateboarder friends from high school spin dnb now, while they're on drugs... drugs drugs and more drugs.. I've been doing free dj gigs for about a year now, producing longer... all i ever got out of it was my cartridges stolen, one of my technics broken, and a nasty rash by the drumnbass whore of toledo.
: How about we post a little of what
: we've been up to, and links to any
: latest tunes.
: Since September, I've been working
: with another producer, fulcrum, as
: Clayton & Fulcrum, and we're
: digging the results. Only one
: tune we've made so far is DnB, and
: that's the cool thing. Each song,
: we start not with a particular
: genre in mind, but certain ideas
: and samples, and let the tune
: dictate it's bpm and style. He's
: more of the playing and keeping
: things in tune and tonally
: correct, and I'm more of the crazy
: patches and editing and sound
: engineering. We're pretty happy
: with where it's going. If you
: want the link to the mp3 versions,
: email me.
