Try processing hit per hit, and be sure to use some compression individually like that, as well as over the drums as a whole. It's dnb- the main kicks and snares need to come out and punch you in the teeth, not just stay in the background holding things together. If you redo the drums and use this as the basic premise for an intro. The transition with the vocal sample was nice- if you made that more dramatic it could work at a first drop, then you could introduce your lead and be headed somewhere.

There's no real "drive" behind this one. It doesn't really have a lead, just bass and some atmospherics and what not. It sounds like a really long intro.
